I am unsure whether to advertise or not. Can I get a free trial?

Of course! As a new advertiser, you will receive a 30 day free trial upon sign up.

Am I locked into a contract if I sign up?

Nope. When you advertise on Mayfair Confidential there are no contracts. You are free to suspend or terminate your profile at any time.

What are the advertising rates on Mayfair Confidential?

The rates will depend on your subscription. Mayfair Confidential offers the following two subscriptions:

  • Premium - $25 plus GST per week (billed monthly); or
  • Basic - $10 plus GST per week (billed monthly).
What are the differences between the ‘Premium’ and ‘Basic’ subscription packages?

The Premium package gives you more quality features such as homepage positioning and usage of the ‘My Confidential’ gallery to name a few. You can compare the premium and basic subscription packages here

Can I suspend my profile?

Yes, we will store your profile data if you choose to suspend.

Can I change my advertising subscription when I want to?

Of course you can. In your home dashboard, just go to the change subscription package tab. Before changing your subscription package, please check out the comparisons between the premium and basic packages.

If I change my subscription, is the new subscription available to me immediately?

Not quite. It may take up to 24hrs for the system to process your new subscription package but don’t worry, you we receive an email to notify you once processed.

When will my account be debited?

After your free trial, we bill on a monthly basis and your bill will be issued on the anniversary of your billing cycle. The date you sign up to Mayfair Confidential commences your billing cycle. For example, if signed up on 3 March, your billing cycle will be from 3 March to 2 April.

Can I make weekly payments?

Unfortunately, not at this stage. We only accept monthly debits. However other temporary arrangements can be made if your account is overdue. Please send us a message below if you have any issues.

What will appear on my financial statement when my account is debited?

We offer discrete billing as we understand the need for confidentiality (no pun intended). The words ‘Mayfair Confidential’ should appear on your PayPal statement. Feel free to send us a message below if you have any issues or additional queries.

What will happen if Mayfair Confidential is unable to debit my account?

First we will try to debit your account on the due date. If we cannot process your debit, we will send a courtesy reminder email a few days later. If we are subsequently unable to debit your account, we may contact you directly. If payment is not received by the end of the respective billing period, then your profile could be suspended until your payment is received.

If I terminate, suspend or change my subscription early, will I be refunded a partial amount?

Yes. If you choose to terminate, suspend or change my subscription package, you should receive a partial refund for the proportion of days not used in the monthly subscription. This payment will be made back into your PayPal account. Please note this payment may take up to 3-4 business days to be processed. Please send us a message below should you have any issues.

Does my subscription end as soon as I terminate it?

Not straight away. You'll be sent a termination email. If you click on the confirmation link, then sadly its bon voyage. Before we go down that road, we would really appreciate hearing where things went wrong? Please send us a quick message below.

How do I apply for a SWA number?

Unfortunately, if you advertise in Victoria, you will need to have an SWA number. In order to apply you will need to register with the Business Licensing Authority (BLA).

A few things to note are:

  • the form you’re looking for is the small-owner operator.
  • it can take around 2-5 working days to process; and
  • there is no application fee to apply.

Once you have your SWA number, to display it on your profile just;

  1. LOG IN
  2. Click EDIT MY PROFILE
  3. Go to Step 2
  4. Enter your SWA number into the ‘Registration No’ field. Your SWA number will appear on your profile just under your name.

By the way, Mayfair Confidential only provides this information to better enable you to make an informed decision about your rights. In no way does Mayfair Confidential endorse the individual registration of private workers as it fundamentally breaches your rights, privacy.

Can I advertise on other websites and directories?

Yes of course. We promote independent adult services providers and understand that you have multiple avenues of exposure.

If you advertising on a directory which is prohibiting you from advertising on another, then that directory may be in contravention of Australian Consumer Law.

Can I advertise on Mayfair Confidential if I’m working for an escort agency?
Unfortunately, no. Mayfair confidential is a directory for independent adult service providers only. If you are found to be working for an escort agency, you could breach our terms and conditions.
What is the standard for content, such as images, on my profile?

That’s completely up to you. However please note that we conduct an approval process on new images to uphold minimum standard as to quality and compliance with legislation. That said, you should bear in mind that your content will directly influence your existing and potential clients. First impressions are lasting. Therefore we recommend that you provide content that is professional, clever and sensory to captures the imagination.

In addition to the above, please note that your:

  • content must be your own;
  • images and videos to be of high resolution, high in quality and not explicit (we may reject content otherwise); and
  • images must not be watermarked, have borders, frames or contact details on them. Please note that we will watermark your images for security purposes.
How many images and videos can I have on my profile?

Well that depends on whether you are on premium or basic subscription.

With the premium package, you get:

  • up to 20 images for your gallery;
  • up to 10 images for your selfie gallery;
  • ability to upload short videos; and
  • access to the private ‘my confidential’ gallery;

With the basic package, you get:

  • up to 10 images for your gallery; and
  • up to 5 images for your selfie gallery

Can you recommend any professional photographers?

Of course we can. Just message us below and we will be more than happy to recommend different photographers across Australia.

Can I use images and videos that are not me or images that look similar to me?

No, we have stringent terms, conditions and policies in place to ensure that any content must legally belong to you. If it doesn’t, then you could be breaching our terms and conditions.

Do I need to have my profile verified? How do I obtain the ‘profile verified’ seal of Mayfair Confidential?

Profile verification is optional not mandatory. However it is recommended that you obtain the ‘profile verified’ seal in order to demonstrate the authenticity of your profile to your existing and potential clients. In order to obtain this seal, just go to the profile verification tab in your home dashboard. Then just follow the instructions to upload your photo. Approval should typically take up to 24 hours.

Can I update my profile and change content like photos and videos at any time?

Yes of course. Once your profile has been approved, you can log in at any time to update your profile. Feel free to upload, add, delete or amend content like your images, videos, tours info and more. New images, videos and certain free text areas will typically be approved within 24 hours. We will need to review such content to ensure compliance with the law and quality standards.

How do I know how many people view my profile?

One of the perks of advertising with Mayfair Confidential is that you will be able to see how much traffic your profile is generating. Simply log in and view your profile analytics on your homepage.

How do I use the tour feature on my profile?

First select ‘edit my profile’ in your home dashboard then go to Step 4. Simple scroll down to tours and then input your upcoming tour information whether it be in Australia or overseas. After saving, your tours will appear live on your calendar displayed on your profile.

How do I blur images?

If you are subscribed to the premium advertising package, we will blur your images as requested. Simply uploaded an image, click on the ink dropper icon displayed on the selected image and use this feature to apply a light, medium or heavy blur to any aspect of your uploaded photos.

Sadly, basic subscriptions do not include this added feature. However, if you do need help with your images, we may be able to assist you. Please message us below.

How do I maintain my privacy whilst advertising on a public directory?

We understand privacy is important. Therefore we have put mechanisms in place to uphold your privacy such as allowing you the ability to ‘hide’ your profile, blur images, use of the My Confidential gallery and Mayfair Messenger to name a few.

How can I avoid a time waster?

Unfortunately this is an annoyance that plagues everyone. We recommend that you provide clear communication in your ‘contact me’ section of your profile. We have also introduced the ‘report’ and ‘block’ features for you. If you have found someone one of the members to be a time waster, please contact us below and we will investigate further.

How do I deal with a rude or aggressive member?

Assuming that the member has not got the message, you have the ability to report a user, block a member or block a member’s IP address. Blocking a member causes your profile to be unviewable by that member. Otherwise, please contact us directly below.

How do I sign up to Mayfair Confidential?

How much does membership cost?

It’s absolutely free.

I’m having issues signing up. What do I do?

You may have entered the wrong email. An easy way to check is to attempt to sign up again. If you enter your email and a red text displays beneath it reading:

Please enter a different email address. This email address is already in use.

Otherwise, we should have the correct email address. All you need to do is click on the activation link in the email we sent. It may take a couple of hours if traffic volume is high.

Please note sometimes the activation email might be hiding in your spam folder.

Is my information secure? Where and how is it stored?

Your data security is one of our highest priorities. The directory is stored on Amazon Web Services (AWS). The servers are stored in a highly secure data centre in Sydney which means you benefit from a data centre and network architecture built to meet the requirements of our security sensitive directory. The AWS infrastructure, built in sync with Mayfair Confidential, puts strong safeguards in place to help protect your privacy. As our hosting partner, AWS provides several security capabilities and services to increase privacy and control network access. These include network firewalls, web application firewall capabilities, and encryption in transit and connectivity options that enable private, or dedicated, connections.

I have just completed my profile. How long does it take until my membership is approved?

Assuming you have correctly followed the sign up process, your account should be approved within minutes.

Do I have to upload a photo as my profile picture?

Nope. Uploading a profile picture is optional and completely up to you. Don't worry, it will only be visible to advertisers.

How do I know that the advertisers on Mayfair Confidential are genuine and authentic?

Well first of all we wouldn’t approve an advertiser on the directory unless we thought that person was real. In addition, advertisers also have the option to get our ‘profile verified’ seal which confirms that the person is genuine and authentic. If you think that an advertiser is a fake, then please let us know by sending us a message below using the quick form.

Can Mayfair Confidential contact someone on my behalf?

Unfortunately, we can’t. We are an adult service directory for independent adult service providers. A good start is to visit the advertiser’s profile to find out how that advertiser would like to be contacted via contact me.

I can no longer contact an advertiser. What’s happened?

Well a few things may have happened. Maybe you are blocked for some reason, maybe the advertiser has decided to ‘hide’ or suspend their profile.

I’ve sent a ‘my confidential’ request but I still can’t get access?

Access is completely up to the advertiser. Maybe they are still getting to your request. If you can not resend a request that will mean it is still pending. Maybe get up to date with our most recent blog posts while you wait.

How do I make a booking?

Just contact the advertiser directly on the platform to make a booking. Tip: pay attention to the advertiser’s ‘contact me’ preferences.

I have forgotten my email address and password?

An easy way to check for email is to attempt to sign up again. If you enter your email and a red text displays beneath it reading:

Please enter a different email address. This email address is already in use.

Then your email is correct.

Just go to the login page and click on forgot password? This will let you reset your password.
